The Eggert Room

The Eggert Room was established to provide temporary 24hr emergency shelter to any individuals in our community. The room is equipped with two pull out couches with linens, table, refrigerator, microwave, and a full bathroom with a shower. It is supported by many of the community churches and organizations (St. Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army) in the Plymouth Area.  The pastors of the Plymouth Co-operating Clergy, along with members of the Eggert Room Ministry, check in person(s) who have need of shelter; in addition to receiving requests from local authorities.  The room is maintained by on-call volunteers who are responsible for cleaning, washing the linens, and restocking the food after room has been used.
